Fr. Bruce Makowski, Mini-Bio

Fr. Bruce

Fr. Bruce Makowski is a seasoned listener and the Priest at Holy Trinity Old Catholic Church.  He is an Oregon Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an earned Doctorate in Worship Studies and a Masters Degree in Counseling.

Education helps shape perspective and an understanding of people's needs.  After studying the Early Church, the Liturgy of the Mass, and the centrality of the Eucharist in worship, he realized that people who are discouraged, disconnected, and disenfranchised from church really want more.  Holy Trinity exists to offer people an opportunity to grow in their faith and grow in community.

Fr. Bruce is not afraid of change. Destined to return to his child-hood catholic roots, he retired from Canby New Life Foursquare Church, a position he held for twenty years as a Pastor and Canby Bible College Instructor, to be ordained as a Priest in the Ecumenical Catholic Church +USA.  The ECC+USA is part of a growing worldwide Old Catholic Faith Tradition where all baptized Christians are welcomed to participate in the Sacraments.
